As some of you may recall I had done a digital painting of Piper a while back. And I want to do Trickster next. Hopefully, I can then kind of put them in the same canvas. I also found an excellent model for Abra last night. So I'm tempted to start SLOWLY doing all the Rogues. Don't expect fast turnouts though because these things take a while.

But I do like how the girl turned out. I'm using her for now as my wallpaper. XD

I swear it makes me want to get some real canvas and start painting with real paint again. Only thing is? /pokes computer/ Computer paint? Freeeeee. Oils and other types of paint? NOT SO MUCH with the FREE! Oi. Expensive for my budget.

Anyway, just finished a third scarf. Just got to work in the ends, and then I can start my nephew's scarf. So many to dooooo, argh.

I have my nephew and brother in law's present done for Christmas. Oversized boxing gloves. Robin is going to probably use them to hit ME LOL!

Anyway might nap a bit before getting online properly.

Hopefully I can answer some e-mail/notifications I got over the week soon.

I have been so extremely busy it is pretty much ridiculous.

Yesterday I was in the van from 7:40 am to 9pm or thereabouts. Getting ready to take off once more.

Conference and three doctor appointments. (one doctor, two chiropractor.)

Havent' been home today. Will be leaving again in few minutes.

Frank the rat died Saturday.
New rat named Digger today.
Two kids home today, took to doctor.
Tested positive for flu. Doctor says so far all tests sent in for the longer test has come back Swine flu. So he's pretty sure so will my children. In fact he's just calling it Swine. They're out of school till Thursday. Any kids that get fevers at this point have to go in automatically for tests so they can get meds.

Gah. I had a very... well? Amusing dream.

I dreamed that Ogas broke into my house with a clipboard stating that he wanted to observe my television viewing habits for a study.

But then, he took the remote control away from me and would turn to the shows he thought I SHOULD be watching based on the fanfiction I wrote in the past. Never mind that I kept telling him, 'um I don't actually watch what you think I watch. Please turn it to Forensic Files. That's what I watch...'

No, that isn't what the data he made up claims.

"I don't care what data you made up. I don't watch that. I watch FORENSIC FILES. Now gimme the remote and go away. If you wanted to observe my television viewing habits you have to let me be as I am, not as you want me to be."

I woke up so pissed off because in the dream it was a Forensic Files I hadn't watched before. I was very close to beating him with the remote. In the dream.

It was very surreal.

Will answer notifications later. I might have to take another pain pill and lay down again before I do. Ugh. Pain pain go away, come again another day. Huh didn't work for rain and it isn't working for pain. :P Aw well. No worries.

I called the Boston University IRB office. The direct approach works.

They've gotten a lot of emails regarding Dr. Ogas. He is no longer in any way affiliated with Boston University, except as a recent graduate. They have asked him to stop using his official Boston University email address in connection with this project, or his website. He is officially on his own, and this project is NOT IRB APPROVED.

That is the official status as stated by the Boston University IRB office.

The problem with this is threefold:

1. The researcher has no expertise in the area he is researching, nor has he recruited anyone to give him guidance.

2. The researcher has substantial profit motivation to produce work in this area (book contract with Penguin) which may lead to unethical conduct/a tendency to misrepresent his results.

3. The research is in no way overseen by any external body which can examine it for potential unethical conduct.

In addition to all of these, the researchers have now alienated their participant population, who are now very likely to become unreliable participants.

The only way to salvage the study at this point, I believe, would be for them to change it to an observational one.

There's these so-called research guys. I say so-called because well, they're not so much on the research. Anyway, they have a fan fiction survey (which is down at the moment while they try to figure out how to cover their asses more.) Do yourself a favor and avoid it.

Well, yesterday was migraine day. So I was offline because yeah why provoke the beast in my head more than necessary Mmmmmkay?

But today has been spent playing with kids, working on people's hair, taking care of animals.

I have done three haircuts, two dye jobs, currently working on dying MY hair. (two more minutes and I rinse it out, yay.)

Dewormed kittens. Cleaned rat and hamster cages. Played with all animals. Will be leaving to go with dh to get something in a bit. But will return.

When I return I'll try to catch up on notifications and maybe get some writing done later tonight.

But I do have a tentative dye job to do tonight. Not sure yet. She's not sure she wants to. I told her 'be very sure'.

But yeah working on figuring out Mint 7 and I believe I got my sound issues all worked out. HEEE!

I think, at least. I got them to work on the test at least. I'll figure out the rest later tomorrow. Today. Something.

But I'm going to go ahead and install tomorrow, simply because I already know this is what I want. And I want to be able to check the time more accurately and get smoother scrolling.

Even though I'm not done with the little computer, fixing it, I need some damn sleep. But I'm pretty sure I'll have it fixed by tomorrow evening.

Tomorrow, if that goes well? I'll fix dh's computer, and then later on next week, I'll start fixing the downstairs one. Though, the boy has been listening to me and he's gotten it pretty well cleaned up. But I'm going to put protections on all the profiles. :P

I would really like to have my sites back now.

I was in the middle of something when they started to go down.

I'm not actually in a bad mood. I just don't hear jokes or sarcasm in text sometimes. But I'd reallllly love it if I could go to a site right now without it going to errors.

I'm irritated, yes, but actually in a pretty decent mood all things considered. Tho' I'm starting to consider a nap if something doesn't engage my attention soon.
